Letters, soundscriber tapes and telegrams concerning the shipment of books for school libraries throughout the province; modifications to the gallery flat; Beaverbrook Foundation finances; the Presbyterian Ministers' Pension Fund; the teachers' scholarships; a proposed National Geographic article and National Film Board project about the gallery; reduced winter hours for the gallery and beginning work on the theatre project. Among the Newcastle projects discussed is that of a loan to Newcastle Rink Association for rink and other municipal improvements. A copy of the mortgage is included.
